PROBLEM NO. 1

I noticed that the vertex of the graph moved upward or downward when constant is added from the original equation ( y = x^2 ). And it moved left or right when the constant in x then squared.

PROBLEM NO. 2

I noticed that the graph of every equation change it for every value of the coefficient.

PROBLEM NO. 3

I noticed that the graph y=ln x is asymptotic to the y axis while the graph of  y=e^x is asymptotic to the x axis.

PROBLEM NO. 4

PROBLEM NO. 5

PROBLEM NO. 6

PROBLEM NO. 7

y > 2/3 x -4

y < (-1/5 x)+4

x > 0

My Math Experience

Posted: June 18, 2010 in Uncategorized

When I was in grade school I though mathematics is hard but when I start to solve and answer correctly some mathematical problems, I appreciated and love math. every day i actively participating during our math subject. and also during my grade school because mo math i joined in some math competion in our school. but assual math is not always easy, it’s not only about counting numbers, measuring a distance it includes analysing and use of your deeply understanding to the problems in some areas of math. like geometry, statistic and other branches of math. actually this college i experience that you should not only contented on what you know in math. you should have also the willingness to read, search in other books, and try and try to solve for you to get the answer. you should also have the attitude not to give up easily and won’t quit easily in every math problems you solve.

Right now I’m still studying in college taking up Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Mathematics to become a math Teacher someday. it’s not easy because it follows a big responsible for us math major to study hard so that our future student learn a lot from us.
